As we all wait for the UK arrival of the much anticipated Pax 3 vaporizer I thought I would have a quick breakdown and look at what changes and possible improvements have been made to set it as a clear improvement to its older brother the Pax 2.
The Pax 2 was one of the most popular vaporizers, so will the Pax 3 be able to reach the top as well with so many other great vaporizers like the Haze V3, Firefly 2 and the DaVinci IQ to compete with? First look at the Pax 3 reveal small refinements that have been made and overall the Pax 3 looks very similar to its predecessor with only subtle changes to its look. As most of the new vapes hitting the market nowadays Pax has gotten Smart by incorporating the use of an android or iOS app to control features such as precise temperature settings, profiles, led brightness and much more.
So what other new features have been added or changed you ask…. Well the Pax 3 now comes with 3 different lids, 2 for dry herb use and 1 especially for use with concentrates. The difference between the 2 dry herb lids are one is designed for use while having a “fully packed” oven and the other for a “half packed” oven this should give you the option of great vape performance no matter how much herb you like to pack in for a vape session.
The 3rd lid has been made specifically with your concentrates in mind and has a small canister attached to the bottom of the lid that opens up for wax etc to be inserted.
Other improvements such as a slighty larger battery and improved sensors such as the lip sensors seen on the Pax 2 have been tweeked for better performance and a faster heat up time of around 15 seconds.
The Pax 2 is a great vaporizer so I have no doubt the Pax 3 will be another top addition.
