One of my favourite vaporizers this year has been the Haze V3 Portable Vaporizer. Coming to the end of 2016 we have a lot of vaporizers being released ready for 2017 some of these from the list of premium Vapes are the Pax 3, Davinci IQ and the Firefly 2 portable vaporizer.
The Firefly 2 is already available for delivery from Vape Monster City and in my opinion is a very good addition to the family of premium quality herbal vaporizers. The Firefly 2 and the Haze V3 are both top quality vapes and both perform really well offering great vapor quality and efficiency, replaceable batteries, and care free easy maintenance but I thought I would compare them against each other with their strengths and weaknesses to see.
Looks and Portability.
Both have a premium and quality feel and design, when I first saw a picture of the Haze I thought it looked odd and very different from the conventional look of your usual vaporizer design but when you see and hold it for yourself you appreciate the out of the box design. The Haze V3 is very neat in appearance and doesn’t resemble a vaporizer unit and more like a small decanter or whisky flask, it fits in your hand and just as importantly your pocket perfectly.
The Firefly 2 is also different in design to the conventional look and has come a long way from its predecessor, it is now 55% lighter and 33% lighter than the original Firefly with a small change to its look and curves. Like the Haze V3 it fits in the hand and pocket with ease and is just as comfortable to carry and use but in my opinion it doesn’t have the same amount of stealth factor, unlike the Haze that I would be happy to use in public the Firefly 2 can at times depending how you hold the unit, look similar to a pipe in appearance. So the verdict is they are both very portable and look great but the Firefly 2 is not as Ninja as the Haze V3.
The Batteries on both Units are removable which happens to be a great feature. This means if you are a heavy user or for example go camping you have the option of spare batteries to rely on and guess what! Both the Firefly 2 and the Haze V3 come with an extra battery!!
The Original Firefly had terrible battery performance but this seems to have been rectified and the Firefly 2 gives good performance before the battery goes flat. The Firefly 2 uses a 7.4V Lithium-Ion battery and charges using a dock that utilizes a fast charge capability that should have it full in around 45 minutes.
The Haze V3 use a single 3.7V 18650 3200mAh Lithium-Ion battery and it performs about half as well as the Firefly 2 battery giving around 4-5 sessions before you need swap out for your spare. It also takes 2- 4 hours to recharge making the Firefly 2 a clear winner in this category.
What can you vape?
The Firefly 2 and the Haze V3 have the ability to do Herbs and concentrates however the Haze V3 has a slight edge as it has the ability of also doing E liquids.
The Haze V3 clearly wins in this department having a good line of accessories and spares.
Some of my favourites are:
Haze V3 Leather Vaporizer Case.
Haze V3 14mm Water Tool Attachment.
Custom Made 14mm Glass Water Tool.
Haze V3 Vaporizer Accessory Key Chain.

The Firefly 2 has spares such replacement batteries, concentrate pads etc, but no accessories as such.
Overall both of these units are fantastic with very different pros and cons that come down to user preference. Either unit would be a great to find in a Christmas stocking! Seriously you can’t go far wrong whatever your choice.
